The Token TK221 Shark Tail Titanium Y-Cut Skewer are a great way to upgrade an often-overlooked part of your bike. The Shark Tail skewer features a small, low-profile lip on the edge of the lever. This lip provides an ergonomic place for your finger tip to hook onto when loosening the lever and removing the wheel. When reinstalling the wheel, you can use the hook to easily rotate the skewer round and tighten it in place faster. When closing the lever, the Y-cut shape makes it easier to achieve the correct leverage and close the skewer tightly with less pressure on your hand. A worthwhile upgrade already, but as it is made from titanium, it is lighter and features perfect torsional strength for both MTB and Road bike use.
